DeLorme’s inReach satellite GPS device developed for outdoor enthusiasts won multiple design and industry awards. This fast-paced development effort required our expertise in designing ruggedized enclosures along with our understanding of design for manufacture (DFM). The user-friendly interface allows the user to quickly and easily connect to global communication satellites in case of emergency while in mobile phone dead zones. DeLorme was acquired by Garmin due primarily to the success of it’s satellite GPS products.
