Product Design: iRADIMED Remote Station

Streamlining Diagnostics For Patients And Doctors

iRADIMED Corporation manufactures truly non-magnetic, MRI-safe products, including IV Pumps and non-magnetic IV poles. iRADIMED partnered with Helix to develop the Remote Station. This device is made up of a cordless Remote Tablet and Remote Tablet Docking Base for continuous patient monitoring before, during, and after MRI scans from outside the scanner room. Helix provided an aesthetic that visually aligns with existing IRadimed products and communicates reliability, value and precision. Other priorities were providing a user experience and ergonomics that met the needs of the clinicians.

The iRADIMED Remote Station was also the 2018 Excellence in Design Winner for Medical Equipment & Devices.
