Developing Products for the Harshest Conditions
The Teledyne Benthos R-Series Test Unit is a marine ruggedized hand held lightweight unit developed for use with the premier Transponding Release Architecture. Working closely with the Teledyne Benthos team, the Helix team provided extensive product design, prototype development and environmental testing to achieve a successful final product. Some of our priorities addressed during this collaboration included aesthetics, ergonomics with a gloved hand, ingress protection (IP54), user interface and design for manufacture (low volume).
